The man believed to behind this morning's London terror attack is Abu Izzadeen, a hate preacher from London.

The alleged attacker has died following the incident outside the UK Parliament.
Izzadeen is a British spokesman for Muslim organisation Al Ghurabaa - a group banned under the Terrorism Act 2006 for glorifying terrorist attacks.

The London-born man served four and a half years for terrorist fundraising and inciting overseas terrorism and was freed in May 2009 after serving three and a half years behind bars.

The alleged attacker received treatment, but has since died (Twitter)
He was born Trevor Brooks, converted to Islam the day before his 18th birthday and changed his name to Omar. Abu Izzadeen is his preferred name.

In 2009, footage of Izzadeen was posted to YouTube in which he encourages others to "kill the police".

The 41-year-old described the 7/7 suicide bombers in the city as "completely praiseworthy," and was filmed the night before preaching to Muslims mocking those who believe in resisting Islamic terrorism.

He previously stated he wanted to die as a suicide bomber, and claims to have attended terror training camps in Afghanistan.

Izzadeen, a British citizen, was most recently arrested in 2015 for not announcing his exit of the UK, when he visited Hungary.
