what, a long drawn out process with a good chance of nothing much changing at the end of it?The BBC deserve the same treatment Murdoch got due to hacking over this.
The only thing the BBC do better than Independent tv is CBEEBIES which pisses all over
Citv. Altho channel 5s kids slot is ok.
Out out damn spot! Cillit Bang and the dirt is gone!ITV's Shakespeare adapts are fucking fantastic
Elizabethan grammarian.damn'd spot
the other channels are mouthpieces for vested interests also. ITV news is like Fox but not quite as shit. In fairness they gave UC's a good cunting the other day, seemed 'off message' for them. We know the beeb is an insualr echo chamber for privilege and rah rah but at least it doesn't ruin a films dramatic tension by sticking the news on three quaters of the way through.
every cloud
A little tit bit Ceefax

These are not the same sort of inquiry in any way or sense. One is done by the govt with a range of powers (effectively that of the house) one is an internal inquiry with no power.Out of interest, did Leveson proceed to an inquiry as fast as the Saville case has done? I'm thinking about timescale from everything coming out, to inquiry. This BBC inquiry just seems so fast?
Why answer if you don't know?there was other stuff before the leveson relating tophone hacking- the questions by mps including then culture and media sec lousie mensch (iirc) and another round of questionings.
levensons was the big guns

The BBC thinks so highly of itself that even when its reporting on its own terrible failings, it cant help but enjoy the experience of talking about itself.
i enjoyed the great british bake off as much as anyone, but lets stop and smell the coffee, this is the state's own broadcaster, with an agenda, which holds, not a brief for individual administrations, but instead expresses the viewpoint(s) of the British establishment. this is no island of socialism nor independent exercise in journalistic objectivism. It is rather a vehicle for the regressive taxation of the poor to fund the careers of the privileged.
This nails it in an instant - And let's have it right, who's gonna say owt about the "money with menaces" letters the beeb routinely send out to license "evaders". Fuckin hell, you ever had to see a bird get fuckin time (even if it is just days) for tv licence evasion? BBC a socialist institution- You've gotta be messin?
This genius always made me laugh- before I moved into halls at 23 I was inna hostel. Every cunt had a tele and you can imagine what their adherence to the license fee was. No letters, no akward visiting licensing bods, nada.
two days into the first term EVERY SINGLE ROOM at the halls was hit with a red lettered ominous 'pay or be fucked' notice.
they certainly know where to target revenue collection.
see also jon snow and the hilarious 'PAY' adverts ;if your child is going to university he will need a license' etc
as bad as moira stewart hiding under the stairs ready to pounce about the tax return
She ended up doing a short amount of time for that.
