Its quite simple - while I very much empathise with the poster and would not want to discourage anyone sharing their experiences - I do not agree with the death penalty or violent retribution.

Many of us here have gone through experiences which have probably affected our outlook. Personally, I dont believe in continuing violence or abuse. Its a cycle that does no-one any good.

Yeah, this one's been doing the rounds for years hasn't it. When I was a schoolboy it was Stalin who was supposed to have charged relatives for the bullet. It's got more than a whiff of urban myth about it. The closest I've seen to it being confirmed has been some occasional cases in Iran where relatives have had to pay to have the bodies of executed prisoners returned.
