Lots of info now confirmed, so may as well get the thread going.

Mens World Tour 2022

18 teams, plus both Alpecin-Fenix and Arkéa-Samsic getting invites to all UCI WT races if they wish to attend. Total Energies (aka team Sagan) get invites to all one day races but need to get wildcards for stage races. Qhubeka-NextHash have lost their license due to financial/sponsorship fuckery.

Anyone watching the Zwift/Alpecin/Canyon competition on Youtube to award 2 pro contracts for next year?

Cyclocross world championships this weekend.
No Van Aert or MvdP so it's pretty wide open with maybe five potential winners. I'm hoping for an Eli Iserbyt victory.

Ineos really not having a good one in Colombia:

(I had a separated AC joint after falling off on black ice a few years ago and it's fucking sore for months)

The U23 mens was my favourite race of the day maybe because you rarely see team tactics being so important in cross. Ended up with with a Belgian 1-2-3 despite the Dutch having the three favourites.
Women's elite was good too as there was also a big battle for bronze which ended up denying the Dutch a clean podium sweep.

First .Pro race of the year and Remco is off the mark. Such an exciting rider as he has no sprint at all so if he is to win he has to drop them and he did!

And just got an alert that GCN has taken £39.99 out of bank account. Well worth it.

Anyone else watch the Clasica Jaén Paraiso Interior yesterday? Supposed to be the Spanish competitor to Strade but it's not as scenic (five million olive trees get boring after a while) but definitely more difficult as it's closer to a proper classic length at around 190km.

Watching the Alpes-Maritime live. They said the tour of UAE tomorrow has a finishing straight of 50 k. Could be fun. 🤔
