They keep mentioning the copper kettles....I reckon they're gonna hit them with drumsticks and a fleet of Routemaster buses will appear with the Spice Girls, Oasis, Blur, The Wombles, the Monty Python team, and David Attenburgh aboard. Then they circle for a bit and Stephen Hawking will descend from a UFO above the stadium with his own copper kettle.

He'll ascend Glastonbury Tor and pop his kettle on the hob to make a brew, but instead of tea, the Olympic flame spills out and lights the Caldron, which is a replica of Stone Henge emerging from the Tor.

Then the fireworks begin....
