Now Jurgenna believe us - Liverpool 20/21

If Leeds can keep this up all season, they'll be fine.
Mind, if Liverpool keep conceding 3 goals....they won't be
Dunno who is in the Leeds squad but it’ll need to be big . Haven’t seen this sort of all out intensity in a newly promoted team before. They made lots of mistakes giving the ball away but they were a nightmare to play against .

We know our defence can be the best in the league. It’s just getting them to that mentality. To be honest, I think the fans not being there is playing a big part.

that's the justification that.. ah, what was the english expression again? teams that suddenly peak and then can't hold on.

yep, agreed on both counts

Amazing game. Leeds played like this all last season in the championship- but amazed and delighted to see it work so well against one of the best teams in the world. The defence will sort itself out - they'd never played together before. Basically best defeat ever as far as leeds fans are concerned. Salah was the difference - total class.
One other thing of note - virtually no diving, feigning injury or general shit housing/gamesman ship from either team - which is a credit to both managers. Bielsa challenging klopp for the "most decent manager/human being in the premiership" title as well.

Fair play to Leeds. If they carry on that form it could be a good season for them. Just watched the (3 minute) highlights on YouTube.

Only 48% possible but 22 shots, 6 on target and 4 goals. Better that a lot of the possession/shots/goals ratios we saw last season.

Nice start for Salah  with a hatrick. Only 16 more to level his total for last season 👊

Away to Chelski in a week then home to Arse :hmm: need to step up for those. If LFC can get six points from there it will settle my nerves a lot.

France forward Kylian Mbappe, 21, has told Paris St-Germain he intends to leave at the end of this season to further his career elsewhere and is targeting a move to La Liga or the Premier League.
#Mbappe2021 :D

Lol

He's so going to Real

LFC or ManUre if the UK is his destination :hmm:

Mbappe will now target a move to either England or Spain, with both Manchester United and Liverpool on his radar, according to The Times.

Thiago will sign a four-year deal.
Fee now agreed with Bayern Munich: £20m guaranteed paid over the life of the contract.
An additional £5m through winning the PL/UCL, progression in Europe as long as the player is integral to success.
He'll wear number 6.
Not a bad bit of business that :)

Champions League 2019/20 :

Most tackles won:
32: Thiago Alcântara
26: Laimer
24: Verratti

Most passes in final
94: Thiago Alcântara
78: Kroos
72: Rodri

Most passes:
832: Thiago Alcântara
745: Kimmich
736: Virgil van Dijk

Good price for an unproven talent mind. Although I personally rated him higher than minomito (sp!) if Firmino gets injured.

Hopefully we’ve got a nice buy back clause in there.

Liverpool are in advanced negotiations with Watford over forward Ismaïla Sarr.
£30m + £10m in add-ons is the deal that they are working on. Personal terms agreed with the player already.
No really reliable transfer sources on this but lots of chatter on the networks. Good player but price seems a bit rich :hmm:

Senegalese player so playing alongside Mané will be a good draw for him. Downside being another striker that could be off to AFCON :hmm:

Seems dumb when we have Brewster. Must be more to the Brewster thing.
