New Sky woodworking show The Chop (with added white supremacism)

Yes, heard similar horror stories about the flat and house building programme underway here as well. But these are issues unrelated to the skills and craft of the workers themselves. They will do what they are paid/told to by the contractor.
I know a fair few people working in this sector with varying degrees of skill, some excellent, but lots with an NVQ2 and little common sense. The good ones are always working whilst the others are flitting between agencies.

Personally, I wouldn't buy anything built in the last 30 years unless I was involved in the project management and on site all the time

The Daily Mail (spit) have done the digging - apparently his dad is very much alive

The father of Sky History's The Chop contestant Darren Lumsden today declared 'I'm alive' after the channel claimed he was dead to defend his son’s Nazi-style tattoos

Sky said Darren Lumsden's face inking of the number 88 was in memory of the year his late father Trevor lost his life - and nothing to do with a code, fashioned around the numerical order of letters in the alphabet, meaning Heil Hitler.

But today his 66-year-old parent revealed he was very much alive - and living in a smart three-storey house in Bristol, not far from his carpenter son.

Trevor told MailOnline: 'I'm here aren't I?' I'm alive and kicking so I'm not dead yet.'

Darren's father has short term memory loss after a serious motorbike crash more than 30 years ago.

He lives in a shared house and has support workers popping in to help every day.

The father added: 'I haven't seen Darren for some years, I didn't know he had tattoos over his face or that he was going to be on TV.

'But if they are saying I'm dead I'd like them to know I'm not.'

1988 when he was supposed to have died is "about 30 years ago".

Maybe Darren really thought his dad was dead, and Sky/Lee Mack can be there to film their tearful reunion.

Except Wicca began in 1954, and Crowley died in 1947, so probably the other way round

Versions of the wiccan rede have been around for centuries, it would certainly have been known to Crowley, hence his obvious referencing of it.

It was a reference to the old Wiccan Rede 'and it harm none, do what thou wilt' - ditching the 'and it harm none', just Crowley, already a well-known general all-round dickhead desperately striving for pre-internet edgelord status. Probably got him laid a couple of times.

Anyway, enough with the hippy bollocks.
It's lifted straight from the second book of gargantua and pantagruel (16th century french litterature), both the abbey name and the rule.
e2a: goddamn beaten to it

Aside from anything else new builds look so dull

I normally hate them but must admit that some of the new ones in Cornwall look half decent. The council must have clamped down.

Having said that I can't see any good examples on the web.
