That would have been considered a fine away performance - except - it was at OT. Nevertheless Utd carried the greatest threat - more shots on target and so on. Fernandes has added the bit of dash and imagination that has been long missing. Still to adjust to the fact that in every attack he will be free on or near the edge of the box. Martial and James both spurned serious chances simply because a midfielder sprinting to join attack as a matter of routine is something they are simply not used to, so they don't even bother to look.

Tongue in cheek Joe tbh , at various times at Chelsea we've done the same. Fernandes is class, I've watched him over here in Portugal for the past 2/3 seasons and he's consistency good.
