MAFSUK 2024

The whole chicken fajitas situation felt very set up for conflict. They are quite boring, Lacey and Whatshisname so maybe the production team were desperate for a bit of drama.

Just watching last night’s show.

Richelle is fucking vile, just awful. I haven’t really sussed Orson out but I hope he bins her.

I also want to know how the groom from last night ended up living so far from his kids. Who moved? I like the bride but her sister wasn’t great on first impressions. Negging her about toning it down.

That whole interaction was bizarre. She totally manufactured some circuitous non-situation and then accused him of being untrustworthy when he (quite reasonably) said he didn't understand what the fuck she was going on about.

yes. So what if he doesn't say he's a project manager on his instagram. bizarre.

And moaning on about him still being upset about being cheated on five years ago, when almost everyone on that show goes on and on about their trust ishoos stemming from past partners. Including her!

I thought it was quite toxic for her to mock him about it, saying "what do you think your boys would say about you still crying over it", like men aren't allowed to have feelings.

I'm not sure I like people with children appearing on this show. It's a lot to explain in therapy at a later date.
It's when they inevitably utter "my kids come first" - er why are you spending weeks away from them to get married to someone they don't know, at a wedding they don't attend then?
I think "being on telly comes first" more like... :hmm:

So many of these people seem to have no emotional intelligence whatsoever. Starting arguments out of nowhere, over nothing, and then complaining to camera that they've been "blindsided". No wonder they've all been so unlucky in love in the past.

I can't quite decide yet whether Luke is an absolute sweetheart or a creepy weirdo.
Me either but it’s too much for me and I’d have the instant ick.

Also there’s an Italian restaurant near me that’s well known for the owner’s slightly creepy ‘hello baby’ greeting so that’s all I can think about.

Yeah, I'm sure he's a nice guy but he's just too much. Hello baby 🤢
Looks like it's all going to kick off tonight with Lacey tonight.

Ooooh! I'm going to miss it tonight.
I didn't watch properly last night either. Too tired. 9pm is too late for me 😆

We've been a day behind and downloading where there's WiFi and watching it on my phone over dinner. Managed to watch it live last night though.

My husband's well into it now and become quite the authority on it.:D

It’s why we’re always a day behind, we go to bed at 9, mostly.
Same.
Shocking state of affairs but I'm over 50 now and go to work all day. I'm knackered by 9pm.

Having said that, we're going out to a gig tonight so I'll miss it tonight anyway. Nice catch up planned for Sunday evening.
