Well, all you whingers and naysayers will be pleased to know that the Manchester (& Salford) organisers have taken your criticisms on board and come up with a new flyer for this year that no-one could possibly object to:

It’s an improvement. But the number one rule in flyer design is getting the information across and perhaps having a design relevant to what it is as a secondary consideration. So I’m not sure what the purpose of the snake tattoo covering the page is.
