Bookfairs: anarchist, radical, other. (Not the LABF).

They're having one in the southeast suburb of Newport as well at the end of November:

Bonus points for having cats although the weird face makes me wonder if they might be AI? Apologies to the artist if they're not AI and it's just an artist who can't do cat faces.

They're by Théophile Steinlen, left wing artist who did the famous "Tournée du Chat Noir" poster in the late 19th century.

Does anyone know what has happened to the London Radical Bookfair 2024? The 2023 version was pretty good and at Goldsmiths. Can't find any info online.

Not so much politically, as economically. They've badly, badly fucked up and are now bankrupt. As a result they raised hire of the hall phenomenally, and so the London Radical Bookfair didn't happen

I'm not sure I follow your post. If you are talking about Goldsmiths and not the book fair, both can be true. The book fair might be considered 'collateral damage'. Bankruptcy is news to me, not a word I've heard even whispered at Goldsmiths. Political turmoil is apparent in many dimensions. YMMV

Is the turmoil mainly focused on whether the ACG should have a stall or not?
