Why can't these things be in London?
Why can't these things be in London?
They can be, just not on this thread, as per the title. (But if you insist, this is mid-October: 12th October 2024 - Anarchist Bookfair London)Why can't these things be in London?
One fairly obvious one by an urb on there.
They're having one in the southeast suburb of Newport as well at the end of November:

Bonus points for having cats although the weird face makes me wonder if they might be AI? Apologies to the artist if they're not AI and it's just an artist who can't do cat faces.
Good knowledge! They're by Théophile Steinlen, left wing artist who did the famous "Tournée du Chat Noir" poster in the late 19th century.
I think Goldsmiths either refurbished or sold the venue? It was indeed a good event.Does anyone know what has happened to the London Radical Bookfair 2024? The 2023 version was pretty good and at Goldsmiths. Can't find any info online.
I'm not sure I follow your post. If you are talking about Goldsmiths and not the book fair, both can be true. The book fair might be considered 'collateral damage'. Bankruptcy is news to me, not a word I've heard even whispered at Goldsmiths. Political turmoil is apparent in many dimensions. YMMVNot so much politically, as economically. They've badly, badly fucked up and are now bankrupt. As a result they raised hire of the hall phenomenally, and so the London Radical Bookfair didn't happen
Is the turmoil mainly focused on whether the ACG should have a stall or not?I'm not sure I follow your post. If you are talking about Goldsmiths and not the book fair, both can be true. Oh fuck yet another thing I was going to go to that I completely forgot about.Did anyone make it to the Manchester Anarchist Bookfair yesterday?
