That can't be upgraded eitherHard drive maybe? I seem to remember him doing a thread about that a while back.

This seems likelier to me.There is another option, of course.
That it's another thing that didn't really happen.
I suppose technically both my suggestions are the same. Either way, no processor was upgraded. The only difference is whether Stan knows this and/or paid for it.This seems likelier to me.
Ah, but that has implications regarding Stan's probity...no, fuck it, I can't do this with a straight face...I suppose technically both my suggestions are the same. Either way, no processor was upgraded. The only difference is whether Stan knows this and/or paid for it.
I've just checked for the model he has (acer cloudwatch) and you can't upgrade the memory or processor.
The man's been done.
Ah the old "clear away the bloatware and empty caches etc. and say you've upped their flux capacitor to 21.1 gigawatts of RAM for them" trick.I've just checked for the model he has (acer cloudwatch) and you can't upgrade the memory or processor.

You seem to have some kind of magic money tree Stan- always enough for beer, luxury bus trips and laptops, never enough for food and beds.
Perhaps you should check the hardware so you know whether it's really 2gb ram / 32 gb rom or notAlways enough for food mate
You naysayers seem to becoming more pathetic as the thread moves on.
I am an artists. I am also a pretty fucking good salesperson - I always make as much as I need, but sometimes I am just a lazy fuck who would sooner sleep out with the street guys rather than pay rip-off money for a shit bed.
My laptop is just a laptop. Why would anyone think the memory couldn't be upgraded, or processor changed? Idiots.
I now have 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM rather than 2GB and 32GB. New processor is an Intel summat. I don't need to check the hardware. The way it works now (Win10 has no problems installing upgrades when I am not looking) is much better.
Anyway, you sad fuck losers (I am just talking to the SFL's here), I am still walking. No more 50/60 KM's in a single day, but still walking.
Off to find a cafe for a late breakfast and recharge of all electrical goodies.
I think you mean your eye-spy bookI have just dusted down my 1970's Observers Book of Hippies.
Layabout- Check
Freeloader- Check
Has assets/ trust fund elsewhere- check
Able to justify how things should be "free" to take - check
Thick skinned enough to take from those poorer than himself - check
Think you'll find Stan not only in the Hippies volume but also the Parasites onenah, its one of this series of yore. Pocket sized guides
I tap correctednah, its one of this series of yore. Pocket sized guides
I'm laughing too hard to even try.*awaits come back from tech gurus*
The k is a typo: 50-60mWhen did he ever walk 50-60km in a day?

Acer, Aspire One Cloudbook 11
Hoping you can upgrade the Cloudbook 11? You can’t.
there’s no way to upgrade the memory or storage
I've been told you can't change the hard drive
Unfortunately, you can't upgrade the storage and RAM

While it’s relatively easy to open up the case (just remove the 6 screws holding the bottom panel in place), once you get inside you’ll notice that there’s no way to upgrade the memory [RAM] or storage [Hard-drive].

That is 35 miles a day-ish. 10-12 hours solid purposeful walking. To do this on an extended basis in 35c heat, whilst scrabbling about in fields for vittles and roadkill to nom in the evening is rather unrealistic. This is utter utter fantasy.
Stanley has jumped the shark here. if he is so careless about maintaining his web of deceit on a truly petty matter like walking, how are we meant to believe his bountiful love life and slap up free food tales ?
Beat you too it!Well as no tech guru has come back on this, I dipped by toe in & googled it.
Well, according to various sites the acer aspire one cloudbook 11 can't be upgraded, e.g.
https://liliputing.com/2015/10/acer...ook-for-under-200-but-it-comes-at-a-cost.html
Even if they found some why to upgrade the RAM to 4GB, not sure why it should need a new processor, because the one it comes with, Intel Celeron N3050, can handle 8GB of RAM.
* I assume by ROM, you actually mean HDD (Hard Disk Drive).
Does sound like you have been ripped-off?
How much is all the cost?
Beat you too it!
He didn't say a cost. He just said it was "expensive"
