League One 2022-23

Ground out another 1-0 win on Saturday. Bit unconvincing second half, ended up hanging on for the last ten minutes or so. Shrewsbury probably feel a bit hard done by to be honest. Fair play to the Shrewsbury fans as well - made loads of noise all game so there was a decent atmosphere.

Plymouth dropped a couple of points so the top of table is a bit tighter.

Vital win in a scrappy game between two worst forms sides with a lot of drama at the end. We'd been leading the got pegged bate with a couple of minutes to go and it looked like story of a relegation side, then almost at once Peart-Harris got bundled over in the area and Wickham buried the penalty even though their keep guessed right. O'Keefe got a second yellow in pen incident so extra time was real backs to the wall and ended with mcgee saving smartly form their keeper with a bullet header up for a corner. Desperately need three points.

:hmm:  :(

i might put a couple of quid on floyd and harvey to take over as interim joint managers

what on aerth is happening at the valley bromley? even our lot are beginning to feel a bit sorry for you!
An endless list of awful owners. Current bloke claimed he would get Charlton into the premiership in 5 years but hasn't given the manager any funds to do so, but he has gone on to the pitch and played his electric guitar.

Vital one nil win in our local derby, back in touching distance of safety. Poor game that nearly fell to the weather but we were the better of the two sides which will do me nicely.

Expecting to lose at Derby but we've been on the end of a right tonking with a pathetic display

Started brightly. goal up within two minutes and might have made it more, but Vale were growing into it. Then after the half it's all vale who've had a rocket, we stop being able to string two passes together, subs are all wrong then a long delay for a nasty falling injury and we concede a soft one, give away a pen then let Politic hammer in a third inside the post. Rock bottom and looking it.

Another win for the mighty Green Army. Keep waiting for the implosion given how a few promising recent seasons have ended but still no sign of it.

Looking like whoever finishes third in this league this season is going to be unlucky - all three averaging over 2 points a game so far.

A good Christmas for us - we've got Barnsley, Plymouth and Ipswich coming up at the end of Jan/start of Feb so things likely to be clearer then.
