Fox is not a reasonably decent actor though.
He makes Arfur Mullard look like Daniel Day Lewis.

Try “I wish to wash my Irish wrist watch”, which is the whole thing. I can say “Irish wristwatch” fast without much trouble, but add the rest and I’m all over the place.
Irish wristwatch
Irish wristwatch
Irish wristwatch
Piece of piss
The names Bond, Basildon Bond.Old Bond???
Kind of ruins the joke, but if you insist:Go on then! ......

Accent-shaming. TskI have a feeling the ‘t’s are a bit ragged here.
I’m Scottish, you monster!I have a feeling the ‘t’s are a bit ragged here.
Fuck off!The twenty to two train to Tooting tootled tunefully as it tore through the tunnel.

He is though. I mean, if there's any doubt, he played Hathaway as a calm, logical and highly intelligent man who's respected by his peers, and was believable at that, so that clearly proves pretty good acting skills.
The vocal exercises thing is fun, but they're mainly a snobbish tool designed to filter out people with regional accents, and RP speakers like Lozza usually ace them with no effort (and without slowing down), since he is also a snobbish tool.
The vocal exercise thing is not about accents, it is about clarity of diction.
I can say 'I wish to wash my Irish wristwatch' fine in my posh voice but it all goes wrong if I speak cockney. The vocal exercise thing is not about accents, it is about clarity of diction.
Well, you criticised my Ts. I’ve got pretty clear diction, but the way I pronounce Ts is characteristically Scottish. The vocal exercise thing is not about accents, it is about clarity of diction.
I love accents too. However, I’m wondering if you’d think someone with RP saying “law and order” had “clear diction”, when it sounds to me like they’re saying “Lawr and awdah”.For the record I love accents, all of them.
Even Scottish ones.
I have a problem for instance if somebody says they fouled their exams instead of failed their exams.
