Animal/nature loving Tories refusing to back the party over animal related issues was identified as a surprisingly important factor in some constituencies in one recent election (2017?) if I recall correctly. So the llama thing was stupid even on narrow political interests grounds. That Starmer llama drama was just a really fucking bizarre episode. Exactly who the fuck did he think he was appealing to by taking such a stance? Does po-faced animal destruction focus test well or something?
