Joe Biden's time is up

for example, here is the information for my zip code

avg adj gross income: $394580 (no, i don't make that money)

the next zip code north:

avg adj gross income: $57100

yet new york county went 6 to 1 for biden

Yup, no doubt or dispute about the rural/urban split or relative population sizes. But it’s the starkness of the GDP figures that I think is the interesting point here. There is massive poverty and so on in the urban areas, but money circulates in these areas. In ‘left behind’ America - both rural and the industrial heartland - the economy is stagnant.

So, the question remains - given that the priorities (bar covid) in terms of the economy, in terms of culturally of these two America’s are necessarily diverse - which constituency do JB, KH and their team prioritise? And what does that mean in terms of policy? And does it close the distance between the Democrats and the people in these areas or widen the gulf?

Not really a spot for this...

First Biden gets an impeachment filed against him.

Now this:

And let's forget that some Canadian politicians want Canada to launch a trade war with the States over the pipeling.

He is not having an easy time right now.

he's blocking god's will. he has to go.

The Dems are massively popular and the Republicans are truly fucked. The Dems are in for at least 8 years and with demographic changes they could hold the Presidency for much longer than that. Unless the Republicans pivot to the center (which they won't) I cannot see them winning anything in a long long time. If the Democrats get rid of the filibuster, pack the Supreme Court and make Puerto Rico and DC states then I see no reason why the Democrats cannot transition to become a European style social democratic party in the coming decades and start to ditch large parts of the anachronistic constitution (1st and 2nd Amendments) and bring in single payer healthcare and even UBI. I see only good times ahead for the Left in America. Biden will almost certainly govern effectively until 2024 and then transition seamlessly to the excellent Kamala Harris.

You'll be lucky if he governs effectively until 4.7.21

I admire the mindless optimism here
