Jennifer Arcuri spills the beans about 4 year affair with Johnson

He remembers your name..... unafraid of being slagged off.
kinky. sounds like a keeper
Have you actually done a news search about this? It's frankly embarrassing to see two good posters say something which is patently bollocks.
im talking about the implications. Questions asked. Pressure put on. Imagine if it was Corbyn etc. Daily Mirror and Metro only coverage Ive seen

its a major scandal, over £100k+of public funds + additional business opportunities, and the press traditionally is rabid for a bit of sleaze if not corruption, but nothing it seems must taint dear leader. Ski is right: silence is deafening.
oh do pipe down. You've said what you want is more newspaper articles. Presumably by the commentariat. About the implications, if you please. £100k of public funds a major scandal. When billions have been spaffed up against the wall on ppe contracts for the friends, acquaintances and people who shared a round with a Tory MP once. Yet this by contrast piffling affair is what you want to see the papers full of, and when it's put to you it's in the msm you say you just want it moved to the opinion pieces

Yeh, some time back this would have been a big story, and it is evidence of corruption, but everyone knows he's moved past this junior level and now plays with the big boys and girls. And this story, which might have done for him some years ago, is extremely unlikely to wound him now. It's too late. It's been overtaken by other, larger, more serious affairs which themselves seem unlikely to sink him.

I met him a few times before he was mayor. He seemed like a nice enough guy, but really was a clueless bumbling wreak of a man even before anyone cared. When he went for mayor I laughed, I just couldn't believe he could hold down a real position. As the campaign took hold it became clear he couldn't. He had a massive team of people doing all his work, Boris himself was kept largely out of the loop (for safety, as his gaffs came thick and fast). This carried on into his job as mayor. Ken Livingstone, actually did his job and had a small team. Last time I had dealings with Boris, he had an office of roughly 20 people doing what Johnson should have been doing on his own. I fucking hate him.
All of that infidelity and ineptitude were already there for everyone to see long before he became mayor, but nobody cared (public), he's a laff innit. His own party knew, nobody wanted him around, he was a well known tool. . . . but he was on telly and popular. "speaks his mind". Same sort of thing (but in a different way) as Trump. Tories didn't care about what was right, just what would win. This 'news' is an amazing example of 'nobody cares'. . . imagine if it was Corbyn, even now after he doesn't hold the opposition position. . . it would be everywhere.

Jennier Arcuri is almost certainly a complete arsehole of a person - not much debate to be had around that, nor should there be here. She is not the issue in this story.

Boris Johnson is a lying, morality free, cheating, bumbling, narcissistic, incompetent, serial abuser of public funds with a proven track record which has led directly to thousands upon thousands of avoidable deaths and the continuing, deliberate impoverishment and disenfranchisement of millions. He is the issue in this particular story, and all it is is yet another piece in a long line of evidence as to his (lack of) character, another stick to beat him with. If only those in a position to do so were willing to take up such a stick.

Well it there is still nothing on the BBC which is the news source for many & have not seen anything on Sky News, ITN or Channel 4 news but you are right it has been picked up by tabloids & regional papers. I am sure there are many people who are unaware of the story.
Still I think Johnson is doing a press conference today so it should come up there.

it's a two year auld story on which the first investigation didn't go anywhere. the gla is still investigating whether he breached the nolan standards but being as he's driven a coach and horses through the ministerial code of conduct without facing action or sanctions i don't suppose even a ruling against him on this will do anything to him.

Yeah, and let's face it, she wasn't the only woman he was involved with. It might not be nice that she was having it away with someone she (presumably) knew was committed elsewhere, but I don't think that sitting in judgement on her serves any good purpose while he still lives and breathes.

Blame the predatory woman, eh .

(And yes, likely neither of them behaved well but AFAIK, he was the one who was attached and cheating on his ill wife.)

There were 2 of them. My views on BJ were already on the thread. Take your bullshit somewhere else.

it certainly won't do much good when he's dead and gone
