Not me, but the fella had a big red line this morning. He's been a bit ropey since Friday night, sore throat, tired, a bit achy but nowt you could really put your finger on. Negative (old) test yesterday so I got some fresh. He had a terrible night last night, with the trademark can't-get-warm-for-toffee chills, then buckets of sweat, he's also been starving hungry and knackered. I knew before he tested it'd be positive, exact same symptoms as last time.

Am now analysing every twinge my body makes

I'm not sure if I'm starting to feel a bit throaty/headachey, or if it's psychological caused by my fear of getting it again!!

The fella's still really ill with it. It's moved onto snotting and sneezing now, and he's not catching every sneeze  I'm doing everything I can to look after him, but ffs, CATCH YOUR FUCKING 100MPH GERMS MAN!

Mainly fatigue so far with some muscle aches and a stupid fucking cough, no mad fever, chills, nausea or insomnia like the first time, thank fuck.

Was quite confident I had it as I was hitting a lot of the symptoms and felt similar to the first time but the test came back negative.

STILL testing friggin positive! Feel like I have much more energy today though, cough appears to have (mostly) fucked off, not needed any paracetamol. Managed half hour on the rower and an hour's walk round the local park. Not ravenously starvacated anymore either. Been wfh today, and will do tomorrow too. This has been wayyyy milder than last time.

Do take it easy with the exercise when you're recovering. From the research it seems like rest is the most important thing in getting over it completely - it's super frustrating 'cos it seems to me like every time I start to get properly fit one of the children brings it home again, but it's better to pile on a few extra pounds and banish the horrible lurgy, then hit the exercise once you're thoroughly better

Ah thanks, I admit I'm not very good at the resting thing, but I have been doing it this week, and I do feel fine after today's.

Sounds great on the surface, but keep an eye on that. It's fine in the short term and rather worrying in the long term.
Wondering if it could just be muscle loss, due to not exercising? I've been keeping well hydrated, so it's not that.

Negative, yay.

Weirdly, I have actually lost 4lb, despite eating an absolute fuckton and not exercising! How??
4lb over how long? I'm inclined to blame temperature changes and imprecise scales for sudden changes of a couple of percent in body weight that I don't actually feel. 4lbs would be 2.5% of the average UK woman's weight which is not much more than the claimed accuracy of the average bathroom scales (+/- 2%).

4 days.

I weigh myself every morning on digital scales, and have hovered at the same weight for months, give or take 1 or 2 lb. Never usually 4 though, and not in the downwards direction.

Ok, just looked it up. 11 stone. I'm 9 stone 5 or 7 usually, no tits, muscular. You probably wouldn't really feel it at 11 stone.
