I do find it a bit weird calling something like that 'dangerous play', when it's precisely what both players are supposed to do, and everyone always does do, usually without incident.

Nah. He didn't get the ball, that's the problem. The Portugal player headed the ball and there was then no way he was doing anything other than punching him in the face. Pen and yellow correct call, imo.

As I say, I'm not saying it wasn't a foul, I just think both players were entitled to go for it, and Lloris didn't act 'dangerously', just a bit slowly.

Also, can't stress enough how much of a 'non-contact' player/fan I am - I think shoving shouldn't be allowed - but I honestly just don't think it was dangerous; I don't believe Lloris was acting irresponsibly.
