The sentencing of former PC Lewis Edwards of Heol Ty Cribwr, Cefn Glas, Bridgend, which he himself has so far refused to attend can be followed here.

evil scum ^^^
Mr Griffiths said that in response to images sent by one girl of her carrying out sexual acts, Edwards sent her a message which read: "Good girl, but get that top off.
"If you try and waste time I will share everything. I'm waiting. Don't reply unless it's a video."
One victim could be heard saying in a video "please can we stop, please I am begging you", Mr Griffiths said.
Edwards responded by saying the girl should stop covering her face, and make the videos longer.
Speaking about one 12-year-old victim, Mr Griffiths said: "He asked her to put her school uniform on and video herself dressing out of it, until she was naked."
He added: "He said he had done this to other people before and those people had killed themselves so he didn't care if [she] killed herself."
The messages were sent late at night and lasted until the early hours of the morning.

Handing him (former PC Lewis Edwards of Heol Ty Cribwr, Cefn Glas, Bridgend) a life sentence with a minimum term of 12 years, Judge Tracey Lloyd-Clarke said:

"It is clear that he not only gained sexual gratification from his offending but he also enjoyed the power and control he had over these young girls."

On the face of it 12 years sounds like a decent stretch and then you realise this for 200 separate girls, so not even 1 month per girl.

ETA: initially didn't see it was life with a minimum term of 12 years, so life is a much more fitting sentence and I hope he's never released.

Former PC Luke Christopher Horner, a former officer with Thames Valley Police, based in Amersham, appeared at Northampton Crown Court on 3 August 2023 to plead guilty to one count of engaging in penetrative sexual activity with a child aged 13-15.

The plea related to an incident on 11 June 2023 this year when former PC Luke Christopher Horner drove over an hour from his home in Aylesbury in order to meet a 13-year-old girl in Rushden who he would later go on to seriously sexually assault by engaging in penetrative sexual activity, some of which he recorded video footage of on the victim’s phone.

He was arrested a short time later following an investigation by Northamptonshire Police and immediately suspended from duty by Thames Valley Police.

After pleading guilty to the offence at the hearing in August, former PC Luke Christopher Horner returned to the same court earlier today where he was sentenced to six years and four months in prison.

Former PC Luke Christopher Horner resigned from Thames Valley Police on 26 July 2023.

Thames Valley Police made an immediate referral to the Independent Office for Police Conduct, which decided that the matter should be subject to a local investigation by the force.

An Accelerated Misconduct Meeting took place on 4 September 2023, where it was found that former PC Luke Christopher Horner behaviour amounted to gross misconduct.

Former PC Luke Christopher Horner would have been dismissed if he were still serving and he is to be placed on the Barred List, meaning he is prevented from re-entering the police service.

Thames Valley Police missed five opportunities to catch a paedophile police officer, former PC Luke Christopher Horner, who they knew had pestered a 15 year-old girl for naked pictures, and should have made further inquiries into previous allegations of sexual assault made against former PC Luke Christopher Horner before he went on to sexually abuse a 13 year old girl, an inspection by His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services has found.

His Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary and Fire & Rescue Services discovered that Thames Valley Police’s counter-corruption unit made just one attempt to contact the Crimestoppers informant who first reported former PC Luke Christopher Horner, for begging a schoolgirl for nude photos.

Thames Valley Police lost opportunities to take stricter action against officer who later committed child sexual offence

They were absolutely racially profiled, I think the Met even acknowledged that in earlier reporting by the Guardian.

And it happens all the time, every-single-day. Takes the filth to pick on the wrong people who are as squeaky clean as can be and have a high profile before they get held to account, and even then it takes three fucking years. Everyone else has to suck up the humiliation and degradation as just part of their lives for being born black.

One really wonders just what it is that "damaging public trust" in the police?:

Wiltshire Police force is now reviewing more than 3,500 applications made between April 2015 and 2023 under Clare’s law, which gives people the right to ask whether a partner has a violent past, after it came to light that wrong or incomplete information has been given, and one member of Wiltshire Police's staff has been suspended.

On 27 February 2023, Wiltshire Police's new Chief Constable Catherine Roper said that she would be be seeking to rebuild trust in police. Now Wiltshire Police says that anyone who had made a Clare’s law application to them between April 2015 and August 2023 and was concerned could email: clareslaw@wiltshire.police.uk, and "truly sorry" Chief Constable Catherine Roper says that she is "truly sorry" ...

22 July 2020: “However, having seen some of the footage myself, I would say that any officer worth their salt would have stopped that car that was being driven in that manner.

“Secondly, my professional standards people have looked at it and they don’t see any misconduct."

On 25 October 2023, two Metropolitan Police officers, PC Jonathan Clapham and PC Sam Franks be dismissed without notice for breaching the police standard of professional behaviour relating to honesty and integrity for claiming they could smell cannabis on Ricardo Dos Santos.

Three other officers, Acting Police Sergeant Rachel Simpson, PC Michael Bond and PC Alan Casey had the gross misconduct allegations against them not proven but will all be subject to the reflective practice review process:

Statement following misconduct hearing over stop and search of Bianca Williams and Ricardo Dos Santos

"“We are acutely aware that Bianca and Ricardo’s interaction with police and their feeling of being treated less favourably by officers because of their race, is reflective of the experiences of many Black people across London and throughout England and Wales.

“We know that Black people are almost nine times more likely to be stopped and searched by police than White people, and nearly nine times more likely to be searched for drugs - despite a lower find rate of drugs for Black people than White people. The officers in this case claimed they smelled cannabis in the athletes’ car despite no drugs being found in the search.

“It’s figures like these and cases like Bianca and Ricardo’s which emphasise why Black people report having low trust and confidence in policing."

Who on earth would do this?

Police Scotland PC Kyle Cruikshank found guilty of a five year run of behaviour including racist, sectarian and sexist/misogynistic abuse, sentence deferred until next month:

Apparently unaware of the impact his words had on those around him. I can't even.

Police Scotland's former PC Kyle Cruickshank of their Glasgow Maryhill Police Office has now been sentenced to 225 hours of unpaid work and 18 months of supervision by Glasgow Sheriff Court. Additionally, former PC Kyle Cruickshank was sentenced to electronic monitoring for 60 days, subjecting him to curfew between 8.00 p.m. and 5.00 a.m., having previously pleaded guilty to charges of pursuing a racially aggravated course of conduct towards an officer and to behaving in a threatening or abusive manner aggravated by religious prejudice. He also admitted assaulting a female police officer.

The charges related to incidents that occurred between March 2017 and April 2022.

76768851-0-image-m-3_1697741997222.jpg

Former PC Kyle Cruickshank appears to have variously abused or assaulted people and colleagues who are Women, Jewish, Catholic and South Asian during his service with Police Scotland - possibly some sort of record.

His lawyer Thomas McMurtrie, in mitigation, told the court that PC Kyle Cruickshank respected the officers and held them in high regard.

“He was completely ignorant to the impact his conduct had on those working around him and he accepts that the language and conduct was not appropriate.”

One wonders how he: (a) came to be recruited to Police Scotland; and (b) continued to be employed by Police Scotland during his campaign of abuse.

Nothing for his crimes against fashion. Poor show.

I would just like to reassure people that only tw@ts wear suits of any bold check in Scotland and the general public can rest assured no further crimes against fashion will be committed by this egregious tw@t.

My neighbours used to have a sofa that looked like him.

Unfortunately, former PC Kyle Cruickshank was wearing a police uniform when he committed his crimes of assault and abuse against his colleagues, not the suit he was wearing when he attended court to answer for the crimes of assault and abuse against his colleagues while he was wearing a police uniform.

One wonders how he: (a) came to be recruited to Police Scotland; and (b) continued to be employed by Police Scotland during his campaign of abuse.

Hopefully, Police Scotland will join the thread to help on this.

Following an IOPC investigation which began last August, the CPS have authorised charges of misconduct in public office against one former and one serving Derbyshire PC.

40 year old Daniel Nash, who has since resigned, has been charged with 13 offences of misconduct. "These reflect his conduct with 13 separate women between 2015-2020". (CPS)
46 year old serving Police Constable Matthew Longmate is charged with one offense of misconduct. "This charge is a joint charge with Daniel Nash" (CPS) so refers to both having sex with the same woman. He is currently suspended from duties.

Telegraph story (archived): Former police officer ‘had sexual relationships with 13 women while on the job’

Southwark Crown Court has now heard allegations that two Derbyshire Constabulary police officers 'used their position' to have sex with a drunken woman in a patrol car after she was kicked out of a nightclub.

PC Matthew Longmate was on duty with The Late PC Daniel Nash in Chesterfield town centre when they offered the woman a lift home following an incident at the Association Bar. The woman recalls having intercourse with The Late PC Daniel Nash while she performed a sex act on his colleague PC Matthew Longmate on 4 October 2015.

The Late PC Daniel Nash admitted misconduct in relation to the incident and to other offences of misconduct; he had previously been charged with 13 counts of misconduct in a public office between January 2015 and December 2020 in relation to relationships with 12 women he met, some of whom were victims of domestic violence or suspects in criminal investigations. He is now dead, but had also named PC Matthew Longmate, his partner on the night of the incident, as the other officer in the car on that day.

When PC Matthew Longmate was arrested in November 2021 he denied he had been in the car with The Late PC Daniel Nash at the time of the incident. PC Matthew Longmate denies one charge of wilfully misconducting himself while acting as a police officer.

The trial continues.

Earlier today, serving Thames Valley Police officer, PC Camron Noble, was charged with one count of stalking without fear of violence and one count of assault by beating.

The stalking offences took place between 17 and 21 June 2023 in Oxfordshire. The assault occurred at a private address in Banbury this year. The victim of both offences is a woman.

PC Camron Noble is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court on 15 November 2023.

Three Merseyside Police officers who exchanged a series of derogatory messages about female colleagues and refugees have resigned before they were found to have breached standards of professional behaviour, at the level of gross misconduct, such that each of them would have been dismissed without notice had they still been serving officers.

Former Constables 7544 Connor O’Hare, 8639 Thomas Taylor and 5786 Bradley Johnson exchanged 252 derogatory messages about female colleagues which were sexualised in nature, as well as racist messages about refugees, in a Whatsapp chat called Magaluf.

In one exchange, the officers said they wanted to take a “threesome pic” with refugees on a trip to Krakow.

“Promise them a green card, s*** them, then fly back home,” one of the officers said.

In another conversation, the officers discussed drink driving and taking cocaine:

Chief Constable Serena Kennedy said the officers had "no place in policing" and apologised to their female colleagues who were affected by this investigation.

"I hope that the communities of Merseyside recognise that the behaviours of these officers are not reflective of the behaviours demonstrated by the majority of Merseyside officers," she said.

"Merseyside Police [is] committed to improving trust and confidence in Merseyside Police and such behaviour will absolutely not be tolerated."

The LSD and magic mushrooms allegations were dismissed today for 'lack of evidence'. The hearing will continue tomorrow to make a decision on the cannabis allegation.

Been sacked for refusing to take a drug test.
