Finely chopped walnuts may make an appearance...
I've always found LMcC a bit dry and not that nice. But still better than the Cauldron abominations, though that's a low bar.I used up some old Linda McCartney's last night in a tomato and bean stew. They were rubbish. They appear to have gone down hill since being bought out or becoming vegan. Need new veggie sausages.
Cauldron fell off a cliff when they became vegan. Mrs Tag wrote to them about this and their reply was ....I've always found LMcC a bit dry and not that nice. But still better than the Cauldron abominations, though that's a low bar.
I can never get Caerphilly so use Lancashire which works well. They freeze too - luv em!!Glamorgan sausages just as is with mash and beans though, yes please.
Oh, they replied to me. With the same boilerplate bullshit they replied to everyone else with. I'd have preferred to have shouted into the void.Cauldron fell off a cliff when they became vegan. Mrs Tag wrote to them about this and their reply was ....
I just dashed here from Facebook to say they're back! I imagine sales fell off a cliff with those dreadful vegan onesCauldrons are back

Were you panic buying and stockpiling?Damn! I won't be able to sell my old Cauldron sausages for a vast fortune now.
TescoWhere do you get Cauldron from?
Hmm, OK, might take a look when I'm in town tomorrow. Thanks.Tesco
Apparently Asda, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, too!Hmm, OK, might take a look when I'm in town tomorrow. Thanks.
In the frankfurter space the Taifun smoked tofu ones are v. nice.
I got some in Tesco today, and they're pretty good. They only require ten minutes in the pan, whereas McCartney says she needs fifteen.Apparently Asda, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s and Morrisons, too!
*THESE AREN'T, surely?Had these this morning as had a vegan friend staying, so couldn't use quorn ones. Pretty good, although more expensive then quorn.
