Agree with this personally. Questionable decisions at times, but it was the appalling performance by the players that resulted in 4-1

Germany were the better team, no question. Well done to them.
In my head I suppose I'm relieved that they beat England by more than one goal, because at least we can't go down the "WE WUZ ROBBED" road. That gets embarassing after a bit. We weren't robbed, we were beaten by a better team.

Out of an apalling team performance Upson stood out as being stunningly bad...not his fault, just way out of his depth playing against the underperforming Koln striker....he should never have played IMO.
