This - the players have not gelled and not played well, especially in defence. They;ve been totally outclassed by Germany.
However the dis-allowed goal should be looked at in terms of goal line tech etc..but should not be used as an excuse for the defeat.

It's no different to rest of the tournament except England played a little better for part of a game vs. the equivalent of Sussex. It's always been a shambles.
It's the obsession with Gerrard especially, but also accepting he can play Gerrard and Lampard when one, and preferably neither, works in the ad-hoc world of national football.

frankly the papers should take a lot of the blame. i've never seriously thought that this squad had any chance at winning the world cup, they should have gone out in the group stage. but the papers have built up england out of all proportion to their ability. when the reality is confirmed, it appears as a sudden shock to many people, instead of being eminently foreeable.
capello should quit immediately after the game - germany haven't been all that good, it's not been a masterclass - england have simply been flopping all over the place and it's clear that capello can't do as well as sven goran eriksson.
and a lot of the players should throw in the towel on their international career. terry's been shit, rooney's been pisspoor, barry's been bloody awful...

I am not denying that DV is an issue but to say it is indicative of English or any supporters and use that as a points scoring exercise is pathetic and disgusting.
