Emily Thornberry to sue Caroline Flint for 'making up s*** about me'

Thornberry's a total wrong un, but just about managed to stay in camp Corbo throughout - wldnt put it past her for a moment to have said this (despite Flint being a sh*tbag, obvs)
Whatever. Call her a wrongun. Call her lots of things. But don't use an insult that subordinates her identity to that of her husband.

didnt see that, but don't buy her 'it's my husband that's the private landlord, not me' bollocks either - Labour doesn't need these people on shadown front benches, let alone even being considered as leaders (her Remainiac stuff is just part of her class make up )

The difficulty here is it's equally easy to believe Thornberry said something like that as it is to believe Flint's a vindictive liar.

Maybe she did say it but she's confident no-one can prove it.
I could have sworn she said on question time. If she did it shouldn't be hard to prove.

This isn’t anything more than Flint’s been spouting since Corbyn won the leadership. I have had dealings with her and Flint is an apt name for her given the edge she displays.
The flintiness was notably absent when it came to persuading her own constituents, first of the remain case (a task that, as a former Europe minister, she should've been ideally qualified for), then of the case against Johnson's deal and for the E.E.A. But no, her flintiness had a curious habit of zeroing in on easy targets.

I posted on another thread her days were numbered when 85% of residents in Denaby Main voted leave. One of the major labour support areas.
The area Don Valley covers a massive rural tory voting too. She had no chance following the stance labour took. But I will shed no tears.
First time not gone to labour since 1922.
