Yes, I like that one.Guinness clones ...nitro stouts for the creamy mouthfeel. London Black being a big one in South London by Ansbach and Hobday.
If you ever come across Entire Stout from Hopback brewery, it is delightful stuff, whether on handpump or keg.
I have no idea why a Hopback pub would stock cans of Guinness when their own stout is so good, but I guess they know what they are doing.
Could it have been the alcohol free version??If you ever come across Entire Stout from Hopback brewery, it is delightful stuff, whether on handpump or keg.
I was in the Albion earlier and some complete idiot actually chose a can of Guinness poured into a pint glass over the far superior draft Entire Stout.

Update: last night I was in the pub and thought it'd be a good occasion to try it, but they didn't have blackcurrant juice, but they did have Chambord, so I've now tried Guinness and Chambord, which was pretty nice, but still not G&B.So have you tried Guinness and blackcurrant hitmouse ?
Just take a bottle of ribena with you next time you go to a pub.Update: last night I was in the pub and thought it'd be a good occasion to try it, but they didn't have blackcurrant juice, but they did have Chambord, so I've now tried Guinness and Chambord, which was pretty nice, but still not G&B.
Porter should be "thinner" than stout and tends not to hold its head. Are these thick?Yes. Originally known as Porters, which are also making a comeback.
Guinness is the best one though but believe it or not, Brewdog have recently started making one called Black Heart, which is absolutely delicious.
