Love the top rug! Where is it from?

urban outfitters - they have it in yellow on sale and blue or grey full price. i didn't take proper notice of the size i'm gonna have to move a shit-tonne of stuff just to lay it down

Lovely :)
I've bought so many teapots over the years that don't pour, more dribble or splutter....go figure

Nothing very exciting but at least somewhere to put the coats. It is a complete fucking bastard to put together, I just know I'll get 90% done and have to take half of it apart. Urgh I hate flat pack.

I don't have £850 for this. Definitely not. I really have nowhere to put it right now either. It is nice though, and massive and looks very comfy. It's probably an investment...
I resisted the chair, mainly because I didn't have the dosh, but now I'm tempted by this, which I also don't have the dosh for, but wow, love it.

Paolo Piva Alanda pyramid coffee table.

Must be getting grown up or something, but went aimless shopping and just ended up buying stuff in a posh kitchen shop. We've noticed we need not medium sized serving bowls when having people over, and also we're trying to cut down on cling film use, so have bought some oven/microwavable dishes with lids for leftovers. I know it doesn't look very exciting but I'm quite pleased with them.

I am well chuffed with these prints. Spotted them in the window if Sue Ryder round the corner and really liked them as I've been wanting more colourful art in house. Also I reckoned they looked like being by a good artist and looked her up online. Showed to gsv this morning, he liked them too, so we got em. They sell for a lot more online!

We have purchased an egg cooker. The soon-to-be-nine-year-old loves eggs and wants to cook them himself. The egg cooker seemed like a good way to not destroy the kitchen or end up in the burns unit.

This: John Lewis & Partners Specialist Synthetic 4-way Wedge Support Pillow, Medium/Firm at John Lewis & Partners a couple of months ago. Bought on a whim, because the last V-pillow I had from JL went saggy in less than a couple of months (£35 including delivery. It's not just JL V-pillows, though, V-pillows and me just don't get on, they never last). Best on-a-whim purchase I've ever made, I think, I have completely dispensed with ordinary pillows. I don't like the case (it's actually 2 cases, the bit at the bottom is in a separate case) because a) it's white and b) it's 100% polyester. I emailed JL the other day because I had a look on the website and I couldn't find any spare cases - and they confirmed they don't do any! :(:snarl: £61.95, including delivery, and I can't get a spare fucking pillowcase!:snarl:

Still, I'm no longer waking up feeling like I've slept on a concrete slab. But I need to wash the case, and I can't wash the case if I can't find a spare! I would also prefer it if it was cotton, or at least a cotton/poly blend.

I have those (2 of) - have no idea where I got them, have had them for years - absolutely indispensable for night-time readers (or knitters). I call them my 'cheeses' and pack one when I stay in the horsebox. Had to make my own covers though.

To be fair though, I nearly always flob into oblivion in a sitting position and have to faff around with my feather pillows at some time in the night.

Not a purchase, just found this fully reclining mid 20th century Norwegian Skoghaug leather chair in the street. Goes lovely with my brown Danish 70's classic and my black Eames recliner.

I like the look of the 'haug - might get one - how comfy are they ?
