Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

Looks really good! Well done for managing to alter it - not an easy task.
It is actually very like the one I had in the 60's - think I bought it from Chelsea Girl (which was probably the equivalent of todays H&M)

I'm down to one bra again. damn peacocks frequent breakages. but I came into some money due to christmas so I ordered 3 off brastop. And now I can't find them again to post pics. :D
None of them fucking well fit.

The Kris one is about 3 inches stingy on the back size.
and I'm not the cupsize I thought which has scuppered the the freya and curvy kate ones. I like the curvy kate pants though (they've got suspender strappy bits hanging off them) so I'm going to try for an exchange.

I was only saying to mum yesterday that I've gained weight but don't know where. and premenstrual boob doesn't help. but like, way too small. ffs.

I fucking hate bras. and shopping. and boobs.

I hate bras and shopping too. Boobs can stay.
I think I've gone up a cup size, or that my cuppage is fluctuating quite a bit with hormones but I know that I will never ever find one in the right size that's underwired, not padded, not polyester, comfortable and not lacy so i'll just have to put up with overspill

or this one.

ooh :D
the grey one looks alright but it's not very..... sexy.
Think I'll give it a go. And it's already grey so it will match all of my other underwear

me too. 'None of them fucking well fit' is pretty much how I feel when I go bra shopping. Plus even within a manufacturer's own range there can be a massive difference in how they fit though they say they're the same size.

I've been reading reviews and they differ wildly as well.

I've been buying not exactly cosmetics.

Tresemme dry shampoo is half price in superdrug so I bought a million cans.
That garnier caffiene roll on was also reduced so I bought that.
and some volume boosting heat spray john freida stuff (because I got a big hair styling drying thing for christmas).

And I got winter original source shower gel in poundland which is pepper and cardamon. nom. :)

and shampoo  and blades. :yeowch:

Been out today and got all the kids new pants and socks at Primark (2 packs for the middle one cos he keeps 'leaving it a bit late') and got myself a new MeMeMe eyeshadow trio and liner pencil in colours I don't normally wear.

I bought some slap today.
All Clarins. Illuminating anti aging cream, Skin Illusion foundation, Instant Sunlight bronzing duo compact, Colour Quench lip balm and a brush to apply the foundation. I haven't bought new makeup in ages and I'm really excited by what I've bought :)

This dress is Monsoon on sale, for the music event I'm singing at:

Solves the 'no dress will fit me round the top and waist' problem. I've sometimes worried that sort of cut might look a bit nothing on me, but the way the pleated sleeves widen the shoulders, and the nice about-knee length it comes out makes it just right.

We were in Brighton, so I looked in a few pretty retro shops like Dollydagger, but I just don't think anything with a waist is going to work until I make some effort to lose post-baby tummy. Which is fair enough to have at the mo, it's not been that long, but I'd better think about working on it soon.

Something has gone a bit wrong. If I had money to spend, which I don't, clearly I would have spent it on getting a new vacuum cleaner, which I need, and not on new boots, which I don't, however red and however reduced they are. Yet somehow these ended up in my house:

I may have been unduly impressed by the fact that (a) I could get my fat legs into boots that were not from a special fat leg boot shop and (b) the shop assistants kept coming past and going "ooh, those look good"

Got 14 days to take them back when I see sense

NB it's worth noting the fat leg thing because they had another pair which I could also get into perfectly easily (they being Fly London). But the assistants kept going "no! no! the red ones!" They had a few styles with adjustable leg thingies that were actually quite capacious.

They are bloody lovely.

I just got a pair of boots delivered from DP. On the website it said theyh were 100% leather. Turns out they are 0% leather. They are n ice but I don't know whether to keep them as I know that them being not leather means they won't last.

a white ben sherman button-down (long sleeve) and a ted baker long sleeve t-shirt with a weird tuxedo front, from the charity shop.

I bought a T-shirt that was too short in the body, a shirt that doesn't close over my boobs and a shade of lipstick that came out far pinker than it did when I tried the tester.

That's what happens when I don't try on clothes! HIGHLY UNSUCCESSFUL SHOPPING TRIP.

These shoes and these rings - all from Accesorise/Monsoon. Shoes were £6.66 a pair for the red ones and £9.00 for the lace ups. Rings were about a £1.00 each (and I need to put some nail varnish on!)

I have got a ma'awi, it is great! So comfortable, but I am not allowed to wear it outdoors! Pic of people wearing ma'awi:
