Detail your latest clothes and slap related purchases here #2

I'm going to a wedding in a couple of weeks and used it as an excuse to get my friend to make a dress for me. Collected it yesterday. I'm so happy with it.

The colour of the flower things don't actually change in a gradient like that, they are the colour they are at the top. It's the lighting.

Dresses never fit me properly because of my height, so I'm so excited to have one made for me.
That, is a lush frock and looks super on you 👍😊

Treated myself to a box of Falke socks that were wrapped for Christmas and on sale in August!!
Just showing the one...the other one is the same 😀😂20230824_182201.jpg
Yes...I have needed to wear socks with my sandals 😀

This jacket & dress via Vinted. Not arrived yet. Otherwise I’m having a poncho moment & have bought 3 on Vinted too.

Did I just buy a desigual dress on Vinted because it was a fiver and in my size and happened to flash up in front of me? Yes.

Also, I did recently have to chuck a desigual-style (but not actually made by them) black dress recently which was very useful now and then, so this is well timed.

Dunno where else to ask this, but have I been shot or have I been mothed?
ETA: oops forgot the pic

Empty, hoover and get some moth sachets or make your own. I splashed out on Lakeland hanging things and put in drawer things when they were on offer and not regretted it. Evil little fuckers. I'm not an advocate for killing creatures but given it could gobble up my livelihood, I can twat one in a heartbeat these days. You may need to wash to get rid of their little mothy bits they leave behind when you squash them between clothes.

Don't really need another pair of shoes but these are tempting - £150. I have the boot version and they're like wearing slippers.

Do they do a webbed version?

They do make a full boot in fabric, and various types of walking shoe with fabric if that's what you're after. They're not cheap but in my experience they're fantastic footwear. The boot version of the one above I've had for many years and they are still as comfy as when I bought them, and don't show any real signs of wear despite heavy use.

I wore these (or a very similar one as I bought mine a long time back) that I've had for many years for the first time in a long time recently and my feet were completely fine with normal socks - despite walking miles.

These rather delightful socks.

They are from an Irish company run by a lad who happens to have Downs Syndrome and his dad and brother.

Their instagram videos are hilarious with Thomas firing his dad..and then giving him his job back.

Website below.

Video from instagram..
