I've had my eye on those for a while but I wouldn't wear them enough to justify the money.

Mine weren't much more but I reckon I'll wear them at least two or three times a week.

I'll get a fair bit of wear out of them. They're going to be ok with dresses, jeans ...everything I have.
And they're a present from 3 pals so I'm really looking forward to them. Also I think they were reduced...or so I was told.


I look at docs as long term investments. They last for donkeys years longer than most shoes.

They did me proud in the hella snow of 2010(?) and they took me up Kilimanjaro. Now i use the m mostly in the garden and falling over in the Peak District

I never find anything even worth trying on in the plus section in TK Maxx, which is usually solid German hausfrau, until a few days ago I found this extremely nice Clements Ribeiro wool jumper. When were they doing plus sizes?

My one beef was that it was a leetle bit snug but when I got home I discovered they had it online in a size bigger so have now got that and the original is going back. Result.

So I've got this lovely new jumper...

Bought some gorg navy blue velvet trousers for £8 in TK Maxx today from Banana Republic. They fit but could def fit better with few pounds less of me. Now I need a cashmere jumper.

I used to have a beautiful one but no clue what I did with it.

I’ve just had an ASOS delivery. Two dresses are going back but I’m keeping this.

It’s very flappy round the bib bit so, in a risky move, I’m going to try and alter it. Yellow pen for illustration. [emoji106]

I’ve also got these but the stems were both bent so ASOS are replacing them.

And this from La Redoute. This is the third size I’ve ordered and it finally fits.

Yeah adjusting the straps did nothing. I’ve trimmed up both sides and moved the poppers. The top is now fine but the sides are still too baggy so I need to alter it again. I need more thread so it’ll have to wait for tomorrow.

It could all go horribly wrong but I seem to be ok so far. Unlike the fabric blind I just trimmed which is quite wonky. [emoji1]
