It was such a lovely jacket.

I have one of these (from amazon. Would be surprised if I paid more than a fiver for it) and they seem to work best with a belt! I wore a skinny black belt but a colleague has a blue jumpsuit and wore it with a wide brown woven leather belt and seeing her made me realise how they should be worn

ION I went crazy in TKMaxx in Leeds last night and got Levi’s! In my size!! Also black brogues and some mad snakeskin culottes with a AW16 label inside Need something for the ankle between the brogues and the culottes so the quest for Interesting & Very Long Socks commences.

Also got cream linen wide legged trousers & a skinny black 3/4 arm top from M&S which is a classic look. Have successfully trained myself to say “Thanks! I know!” when colleagues complimented my get up

Thimble Queen those jackets seem quite the popular thing for AW18 - could you find a less expensive one so you can have it plus a rainy days thing?

Ah! A belt makes sense! Although I quite like the huge amounts of (actually quite heavy) material that make me look as though I am drowning. And the comfort.

You do have to choose your footwear carefully, though.

I like hanging it up....it neatly folds into a giant square The Kits say it’s my flying squirrel costume Yeah, high summer footwear looks best, I think.

I found myself under-dressed at work yesterday, and found a barely worn moss green lambswool jumper in the charity shop at lunch.

I never find anything even worth trying on in the plus section in TK Maxx, which is usually solid German hausfrau, until a few days ago I found this extremely nice Clements Ribeiro wool jumper. When were they doing plus sizes?



My one beef was that it was a leetle bit snug but when I got home I discovered they had it online in a size bigger so have now got that and the original is going back. Result.

gsv managed to dye a pair of old and not especially loved casual trousers of mine pink in the wash the other day, so I've got these blue chinos on clearance from Boden super cheap, as petite 10 must have been the last pair or something.

I bought this dress.

I was fairly sure it would look awful but I kind of don’t hate it. I’m not sure how to wear it though, I always wear short dresses with leggings and birkies or converse.

I hate my legs because I’m fat and have some psoriasis patches so don’t really want to go bare legged as it’s a wrap dress and will slip open easily.
Also, what footwear? I don’t do heels or fancy shoes, I hate them, can’t walk and they’re just not me. I thought about DMs or my black converse boots to make it more casual but that might look shit.

I’m really out of my comfort zone with this and have no idea!

I also bought a jumpsuit which I don’t completely hate either, I’m confused.
