I was ordering a boring and useful skirt from M&S (too boring, it's going back) and chucked this in in case I really, really loved it. It's cute and fits well, but I'd need a shrug or something with it, and I do already have a black party dress, plus it's not cheap so would be a waste if I only wore it twice or something. So not sure. The moral is really, if you don't need things, don't look at them...

It has sleeves, you don't need a shrug. Just make sure you're invited to more parties over christmas... sorted ;)

All that winking, I think youre in there rubes :D

I got a nice top/dress thing from Evans. It has that sort of lace/crochet like stuff for shoulders and across the top back and a cross overish front but the main body of material is sort of black with little flowers and butterflies in red, orange, yellow and cream. I liek the pattern but cant be arsed to find the pic

I've just got the same one I think :D 30% off

ooo i like that a lot...............:hmm:

I saw a fantastic dress in H&M in Brixton with a bird print on it but they only had small sizes. Will have to investigate further.

Mustard coloured Pringle jumper, Ben Sherman jeans and a pair of Caterpillar's all from TK Maxx for about £90. Need to get some new shreddies this weekend as the current lot are living up to their name.

Well, I think it's proooobably staying as I seem to have a cardigan that's ok with it. Not sure about shoes but kind of like these boots actually.

I think it may be quite useful as it's eveningy but not over the top ie fine down the pub etc. Second opinions?

I *LIKE*, Rubes...defo!!!

A keep imo!

Also, a quick reminder to always check hotdeals for % off/free postage etc (wtfftw's post reminded me - although when I checked, there were no free postage deals from New Look....just some expired % off ones...ALWAYS worth a try though!)

I've been looking at ugg style boots (want something warm and cosy for dog walking) and googled wide calf fit.

I ended up on mumsnet and some stupid cow on there won't buy boots from Evans or Simply Be because she would be too embarrased to say where she got them. Ffs, I wish you didn't have to register to comment.

Don't you need something a little more waterproof than uggs for dog walking, Sparklefish?

Nice frock, Mentalchik

I have got wellies too but I don't need those for road walking and stuff. I've been wearing trainers but they are really uncomfortable and my walking boots are such an arse to get on.

Second one looks like better quality material and make, and the style's nicer. There's also definitely a petticoat under the first one ;) Agree with ra about the pockets though.

I keep changing my mind about the pockets but as moose said they look like they come off easily. Plus the second one is cheaper :D
