I bought lots on Saturday.

I got comfy shoes from Clarks in red (the lady was laughing because I tried on every red shoe they had in the shop. I like red shoes). They hurt my ankles, making them bleed, but plasters will stop that. They are very comfy underneath.

I bought 2 dresses, one of which will have to go back because it sits weird on my bum, sticking out like I'm wearing a bustle or something. The other one is lovely, but I may need a petticoat underneath (lol) because it's a bit of a Diana moment when the sun is behind me.

I bought an almighty haul from Primark, managing to spend £40 in there (which you all know means I left with 2 bulging bags). Got socks, a couple of nighties, a cardi, 2 t-shirts, some glittery eyeliner, some beads ... hmm, maybe that was it.

I got a new bra too (la senza) - best bra I've bought in ages. Very comfy and makes me look like I've got bewbs. Which is nice.

I bought some ELF makeup earlier in the week, but I only like the lipstick.

Oh :( What's wrong with it?

I like this Bet Lynch affair. :D

both gorgeous - especially zenie's - but you need a flatter stomach than i have to get away with most of their stuff.:(

i'm hoping the way mine is draped at the front will make it more forgiving...

have you looked at whirlingturban.com - for ultimate wishlist territory?

edit - also, would it kill rockabilly designers to leave the fecking halternecks out more often? some of us need to wear a proper bra!

Do you like the stuff on there??

Yuck! :D

ya never know spangles I've seen that pic of you in the rubber dress!! :)

Some of the prints on that whirling site are a bit busy for me, (or maybe I don't wear printed stuff?? :hmm:) this is lush though

it's custom fitted from original 1950s patterns - what's not to like?

It's not everyone's cuppa tea I guess! :)

but you'd have it made in a fabric you liked, that's the point.

i'd look a twat in something like that though. :D

Aaaah I only looked at the boutique and wedding dresses.

Hmm they're about 100-150 quid once you work out the conversion, might see if I can get some fabric and make it for that money. Probably never will though! :D

yeah :(

it's making me wish that I wasn't married to dodgers yet, cos I want a lovely wedding dress like on there.

maybe we could do that renewing of vows thing.

or maybe I'll just get a pretty frock for the sake of it - one day.

well don't wear the rockweddingbilly dress like, that would be a bit gauche. Are there not some other frocks on there that would be suitable?

oh I've got a "nice" dress from next for the wedding of the year :D

when you finally get married, if I get an invite, I'll wear a MEGA dress ;)

pin up couture. I've got a dress from them, but never wear it, cos it looks awful on me :(

sorry, it's pin up girl clothing http://www.pinupgirlclothing.com/

The dresses on there are lovely but I've never been brave enough to buy anything like that off the interwebs cos of the sizing. Is it fairly generous on the boob front cos I always have to go up a size for anything fitted around the boobs (which then becomes too big on my tummy :mad:)

yeah, i have a similar problem nipsla - but this one is generous in the boobies, can't remember what size mine is, cos I can't bear to look at it :(

today i went shopping and i bought a teal 3/4 sleeve cardi,a turquoise tshirt with a surf print, a grey tshirt with a guitar on it, some socks with stars on, some pumps with stars on and a black tshirt with collar which is a bit too clingy for my liking, all from Matalan. i also bought a blue baggy tshirt dress which i dont really like , a batwing type jumper which feels a bt wrong, and a green cardi from primark. so a bit of a mixed bag :)

i only went out for pants and bras, which i bought neither of :D

eta: took the tshirt dress and batwing top back, and bought a bra and a bottle of wine instead
