tomorrow, i will be purchasing a wooly jumper of some sort, and some winter boots.

i'd like a pair of moon boots for winter but it won't be cold enough and i'd look too silly.

I got a khaki parka from evans after deciding the wool coats would be too hot and constricting, I panic a bit when I get too hot

Got a friend to give me a second opinion on all the coats and she agreed with me that they were all nice, and none of them was perfect but the green one was the best. So I've taken the blue and red ones back and am keeping the green one unless something else crops up before my 14 days runs out. Because there's no guarantee that something I like more will come up and it's a useful coat.

Went out with the intention of buying stuff again and found very little. I want some brown boot cut cords cos I'm not quite small enough for the pair I own. Actually I've not tried them for a bit so that might be an idea later. And I'm generally finding the high street quite uninspiring.

Bought some Chrimbo bits from Lush:Satsumo, No Name and umm something else spicy, and got a free chunk of soap which was nice

Since I opened the doors to my inner splurge queen to do work to my flat, I've gone a bit mad on the clothing front

In the past week I've bought:
a cardi, a dress (grey, for work and not very exciting) and a long knitted jumper dress from uniqlo
a pair of leggings, two pairs of tights, a pair of black patent shoes and some studded ankle boots from M&S
a pair of ecco knee high boots and a pair of leopard print loafers from tkmaxx.

Gives a good straight line so quite flattering I think. I always struggle with cardis with welts round the bottom as they invariably chop me in half at a dodgy bit. Or they're shorter than the layer below which looks a bit shite

@Ruby: Yeah, I'm not keen on Duo. I tried on every pair of flat boots in the entire Trafford Centre today - it's amazing how size and er... girth varies, not to mention leg height. Some pairs in Clarks fitted round my legs but were so long I couldn't bend my knees! Other pairs weirdly fitted round one calf but not the other, and not always the same way round Anyway, I'm chuffed with what I got.

trashy, how does uniqlo sizing come up? have had my eye on one of these cardis for a while but haven't managed to get to store to try one on. are they generous or do they come up small?
