It's a bold look but I think you can pull it off

No, it's fine.I'd suggest making sure it's a dark one though, and stick to the classic styles (Levi's type 1, 2 or 3, or a Lee Rider)

As long as you don't wear blue jeans with a blue denim top you should be okay. Double denim is a no no according to my son and his mates.

I did have a fantastic pair of ornate cowboy boots from Mexico until a couple of years ago. Regret getting rid of them.

I'm not keen on a cowboy boot myself - prefer a heavy brown workboot instead if you're going to do the western look.
