A thousand soldiers have been deployed to sort out the complete mess capita have made of the £440million ten year outsourcing deal they were given.
Since last year they have managed to process 61 recruits for the TA nationwide! .
That's a truly epic level of failure of course nobody is to blame for this or any money handed back

They keep a supply of telephones in the recruiting office my friend works in as he keeps breaking them after speaking to capitia.
Jokes about asking Isis for tips on recruiting are wearing thin.
We have recruits caught in capita's web of shit. All keen to join ,but, waiting for paperwork to catch up with them.

Actually the whole problem is that it isn't a free market. It's a public service monopoly. How in hell the private sector is supposed to be better at handling a public service monopoly than the state is beats me, I've never seen an economic justification for it.

The whole private sector is best thing is a religious faith now, it has no basis in reality, it has no evidence backing it up... and if you put economists on the spot about it they will eventually admit it.

Mind you the TA used to get recruits through the door in less than a month using one full time admin worker and a part time who were usually a bit odd.
