Crafty Thread - what are you working on at the moment?

This yarn is like Kidsilk Haze
I use a fair bit of kidsilk haze in conjunction with another yarn. i have been knitting a top in Handmaiden Seasilk, Shibui single ply and kidsilk Haze (it will be the most spendy thing I have ever knitted, even with huge discounts, it is well over £100 (shoulda been twice that!) of wool. But anyway, using KSH with another fine wool, especially if you wind them together first, is rather lovely - a soft halo and some really subtle colour changes (I am using pinks and greys). Have been knitting the bugger for almost 2 years mind - the list of unfinished items is also around a 2 year backlog, even at the most optimistic estimate.

Finished a hat but I made it slightly too large so I have to tip back a bit and finish it again.

On the plus side I already ripped back once which was the first time I've ever frogged and picked up the stitches again. Usually I rip it all out. #skillz

I've finally finished my jumpsuit. I often have a massive block about actually cutting things out but then I'm fine once I've got going. This was ridiculous though, I agonised about the bloody thing for months then made it in a few days.

I did just use the original jumpsuit pattern, but have done proper denim topstitching on it all so it has a vaguely boilersuity feel. It was the first time I've done topstitching with heavy thread on this machine and it was a bit of a battle. Never quite got the tension right but it'll do.

Next up, I've bought this pattern inspired by the recent weather. I think a longer raincoat will be useful. On the lookout for some waterproof fabric. I'm also plotting various other garments from my fabric stash.
