Where was the C**t Alliance when post offices were being shut, village shops going to the wall becaue of supermarkets, village pubs closing cos of the breweries, council housing sold of and only "chcocolate box" housing available at prices people couldn't afford, local bus servcies decimated through privitisation, village state schools under threat etc etc etc

When have I claimed the CA was there for any of those things? But that list of grievances are the reason why lots of working class people are there today and even more working class people support the CA. However inadequate the CA is as an organisation to express those grievances and however inadequate fox hunting is as an issue to gather around, that is precisely what is happening.

But I'm back in Herefordshire at the moment so am again angry with how the left in the uk completely fails to understand the rural working class or have a fucking clue about live outside cities. (not that they have much of a clue about any section of the working class - white blokes with shaved heads, must be fash. and so on)

At first I thought he meant posters in general then considered he may of meant posters like him (whatever political persuasion he is) but then he claims he meant posters on this thread but that doesn’t track in my view with his earlier post stating that he “wondered about me sometimes” which implies (to me anyway) that his wondering proceeded this thread. ffs - "I wonder about you sometimes" is purely idiom - my mother used to say it to me whenever I did something she considered daft. It doesn't mean anything beyond the immediate issue in question.......
