Alan Partridge: Alpha Pupa

Audiences were confused and unimpressed by this imaginative take on the series, in which Steve Coogan plays a particularly dominant caterpillar that turns into a butterfly.

Lord of the Lies
Senior tories crash land on a deserted island on their way to the party conference in Blackpool. Boris Johnson mounts a pig's head atop a spike to show who's boss, whereas David Cameron wants to skull-fuck it, Liz Truss wants to open the island's first pork market and Theresa May has no idea what's going on, and laughs awkwardly as she looks for a field of wheat. Rishi Sunak laughs from his private helicopter.

Tarbie: The Movie

Greta Gerwig directs the fantasy comedy about iconic comedian, singer, TV game show host, and professional Liverpudlian, Jimmy Tarbuck.

With a snazzy outfit for every occasion - Pro-celebrity Golf, or presenting Come Dancing, Tarbie's Fame Game, Celebrity Squares, It's Tarbie! or the 1000th edition of the Royal Variety Performance - the colourful and seemingly perfect Tarbieland is brought to life, featuring an ensemble cast from beyond the grave, including Tarbie's old muckers Bruce Forsyth, Ronnie Corbett and Larry Grayson.

But since Tarbie retired he has to live in the real world - a mansion in rural Buckinghamshire - with the joys and perils of everyday humans and real challenges! Will he survive the journey of self discovery?

Trading Plates

Eddie Murphy is a compère at a Greek wedding but they don’t like his jokes.
Coming To Armorica

The Eddie Murphy/Asterix crossover nobody asked for. An African prince is sent back in time to find a suitable wife, and ends up at a quaint village near the Brittany coast, where the local indomitable Gauls take him to be some kind of reincarnation of Vercingetorix come to avenge the indignities of Alesia.

As well as returning to the parts of Prince Akeem Joffer and Randy Watson (Saul and Clarence having been ditched due to a wokelash), Murphy also plays Impedimenta, Bacteria and Panacea.
