Scotland is up to its eyeballs in water, but parts of England have come very close to running dry in recent years. And the water companies are more inept at doing their one fucking job than you'd think could be possible. Since water was privatised England's population has grown by about 10 million. Zero major reservoirs have been built in that time.

But compared to even near neighbours like Spain, yes we're still very lucky in the water department.
