They did say it was "too hot to work" thoTheir pubs do have aircon tho
Yeah, but they are doing advertising via twitter thoThey did say it was "too hot to work" tho
Thanks for your genuine concernI wonder if anyone can find a brewery that wasn't murdering people by putting heatwave themed advertising out on social media. I note that "lost and grounded", the ones who were complaining about the Brewdog billboards outside their premises a while ago, were actively slaughtering innocent people via their Twitter feed too. The despicable genocidal despots.
Feel free to treat it all as a joke but anyone who drinks alcohol supports the murderous drinks industry in general and frankly has the blood of thousands on their hands. Speaking as someone who is 99% teetotal I personally am glad I am not involved in these killings. On the contrary by purchasing alcohol free beer including sometimes from brewdog I save lives by encouraging the production of harm free hydration providing beverages. Thanks for your genuine concern
The reply from the Brewery Workers Union went viral:
It's just a bunch of listings for various Brewdog bars showing that they were still open at the same time as someone in Brewdog's social media/PR office typed out a tweet saying "it's too hot to work".The contents of the above appears on Twitter in much too small lettering for me to read!!
Any way of rectifying? Thanks .....
No no no.It's just a bunch of listings for various Brewdog bars showing that they were still open at the same time as someone in Brewdog's social media/PR office typed out a tweet saying "it's too hot to work".
Hardly a “gotcha” when there’s already plenty of evidence of their poor attitude towards their workers. It was, though, a SM gaff, emblematic of a hypocritical and uncaring approach towards their own workforce.
The Wobblies were quite right to call out the double standards exhibited in their attempt to drum up trade.
Nonsense
next comes the fauxTypical, no actual counter-argument, just straight up denial.

I've been to the one in London and the didn't have any alcoholic drinks on sale. The article doesn't mention alcohol does it?First it was beer, then it was burgers, then pizza and now, it’s axes (apparently):
Leeds axe throwing venue to launch bottomless brunch session
Whistle Punks is offering a 'unique' experiencewww.leeds-live.co.uk
Apparently does in my local pox-park.I've been to the one in London and the didn't have any alcoholic drinks on sale. The article doesn't mention alcohol does it?
Pretty sure that alcohol and throwing axes does not mix well
Nice to see you're at least amusing one poster on this thread.“Counter argument”

I think it’s just the standard Google search results with normal opening times which may not reflect the actuality. In response to Brewdog's tweet, 19th July, "Come on then, it's too hot to work. What are we all drinking right now?"
...Brewery Workers Union [at]BreweryUnion replied, "This you?"
Included are screenshots of online profiles of Brewdogs in Camden, Old Street, Clerkenwell, Shorditch, Seven Dials and Paddington.
Highlighted are their closing times - all between 10PM and 12AM.
So they tweeted lies?I think it’s just the standard Google search results with normal opening times which may not reflect the actuality.
Surely you shouldn’t be contacting me as per terms of mutual ignore? So they tweeted lies?
Again.
Oh. forgive me. I forgot to set you to ignore. I'll sternly tell myself off now and hopefully never have to hear your trolling garbage again.Surely you shouldn’t be contacting me as per terms of mutual ignore?
Yep, internalised misogyny is very much a thing."We can't be sexist, we have women working for us" has got big "I can't be racist, I have a black friend" energy.
