Here do you or anybody else know about any work opportunities there this year? I know Oxfam r doing it but ive already put down a deposit with green stewards (they're doing glade n SGP)

I paid in the end as I normally green steward too, but 25 hours for me was a bit much for boomtown

I am well chuffed! I heard last night that the mrs snake's band have been invited back... we had a great time last year. (Being the plus one is the best way to do a festie by far, crew camping, no litter picking or gate duty for me)

Due to exceptionally high ticket sales, Boomtown Fair is set to sell-out in record time and therefore, we have had to bring the deadline forward for paying off your balance.
You must pay off the balance of your tickets by midnight, Sunday 1st July.

This is so we can release any unwanted tickets back for sale and give everyone the best chance of attending this year's amazing festival.
If you have a reason why you will be unable to complete payment by 1st July, you must contact us by replying to this email, or by calling 0844 870 0000.
Any unpaid deposits on 1st July will be void and released back for sale. No refund will be given.

I've just rung the ticketsellers.

They say that everyone who's paid a deposit should have had that email. I pointed out I hadnt and I had paid the deposit. Apparently you have to 'sign in' to pay the rest on the boomtown site, but there is no-where to sign in?

So i Paid over the phone, and the cheeky cunts charged me a second transaction fee and a second booking charge. So in total I've paid £12 in transaction fees and booking charges over the 2 payments I've made.......

I used to think the ticketsellers were good, now I think they're total shit.

tts have made a mistake on the tier 4 deposit scheme - simm phone them now and they will refund the £5 or so straight away - they will email everyone who has paid the extra and give them a refund also... apologies for the mess!!

yep thats the one - all balances for all tiered tickets need to be paid by July 1st or they will go back in for a re-sale on 5th of July ! anything else let me know x
