I've heard from a good friend who is attending as crew that there appears to have been a cut back on crew+1 type tickets (or similar) - but there's been a release of 500(??) ViP / Glamping tickets at £500 / ticket - would like to hear confirmation if this is true - if true, so much for "fighting the . . . thing" or whatever the theme is / was

Noise and traffic are the main complaints. It's pretty loud at my house usually. Not that I mind, though

There's a lot of people round here who would complain about Boomtown whatever the noise and traffic were like. They just don't like people having fun! I really must go one year.

im not going this year, due to various reasons and the fact ive been 3 years on the bounce means im ready to have a year off, and go on holiday instead.

looking at those set times though makes me fucking wish i was going though!

Boomtown have categorically denied it isnt going to be the last one at Matterly Bowl, but even Bristol mates who are pretty knowledgeable on all things Boomtown arent sure if they are just saying that or are going to continue on there, with its punitive sound limits. who knows?!

A friend who is performing 3 times saying that they're missing an artist ticket and it's been difficult to sort out
also seen people claiming that crew have had stuff including cash stolen by security on arrival

Forecasts say it should stop 11-12 this morning.

Don’t mention the line up. I’m working during 3 of the acts I most wanted to see. All 3 clash though which would have caused a condudrum I no longer need worry about.
