There is advice to cut back on red meat, certainly, although some of the studies this is based on aren't totally clear about whether it's the redness or the processedness of the meat that's the biggest problem. This metastudy suggests that processed meat is between 2 and 10 times more cancer-causing than fresh red meat.Ceratinly there's plenty of medical advice to cut back on the someone's daily red meat intake:

It's hard to get a straight answer out of you with your usual pro-meat quibbling, as witnessed in the post I responded to. But are you we agreed: red meat no more than three times a week (and obviously far less if you're interested the environment as well as your health)? No. Can you find any post of mine that suggests people should do that?
Bullshit. You just aren't reading what I write. It's hard to get a straight answer out of you with your usual pro-meat quibbling,

Clue: Not all meat is red meat.
Don't eat too much as fish has its own health issues eg heavy metals in some sorts and issues round farmed fishI am eating a lot more fish nowadays instead of meat. It feels like it’s better for me health wise, but I’m guessing from an environmental POV it’s still terrible.

I’m not exactly eating steak every meal, and often have veggie meals (these are becoming more frequent too), but I’d struggle to think of a day where there wasn’t something with meat in it at some point.
