Ah: contributors to this discussion say there are 4 Falklands vessels, and 6 flying a Malvinas flag of convenience.
PS:
You are not alone paolo999, the vast majority dont know the history of Britain and Ireland, this board is populated by lots of imperialists and colonialists that care nothing for fair play and justice and as long as they are ok then they dont want to know. How about Ireland?
There's a meaningful discussion there. I mean, not a kick-the-paddy-we're-British 1970s discussion. A grown up one. My reading of Irish history, is, tbh, abysmal (I read a bit, forget, read some more, forget) but at least it could be sensible discussion and the one that's true to your heart.
what's the malvinas flag look like? if the argentines have such a yen for the islands they must have rustled up a flag for them.Ah: contributors to this discussion say there are 4 Falklands vessels, and 6 flying a Malvinas flag of convenience.

fair play and justice? the islanders have been there for 150 years happy to remain British speak English etc. the Argentine couldn't woo them in the 70s invaded in the 80s and (behaved appalling before booted off.)You are not alone paolo999, the vast majority dont know the history of Britain and Ireland, this board is populated by lots of imperialists and colonialists that care nothing for fair play and justice and as long as they are ok then they dont want to know.
separate issue, I think. This is just a bit of limp mercosur gesturism. All the boats need to do is run up the union ensign (the blue peter?) instead - which they are legally entitled to do. The UK has already offered to cut Argentina a deal over oil, and there's plenty enough fishing areas for all.Still boarding / blockading the Spanish boats, or was that a one off?
we do know it, you idiot, and in more depth than you, we just have brains to analyse it properly with as well. You are not alone paolo999, the vast majority dont know the history of Britain and Ireland, this board is populated by lots of imperialists and colonialists
up the junta's the traditional answerSo where in the Olympic village are we going to stick the Argies? In with the Iranians?
What (briefly) was the deal and what was the Argentinean response?separate issue, I think. This is just a bit of limp mercosur gesturism. I was responding to paolo999 asking about Ireland, as regards Argentina and fair play take a look at the English in three football world cups against Argentina, Michael Owen doing a swallow dive to get a penalty on two different occasions and of course in the English World cup [the world cup was known to the the rest of the world as ''el robo del siglo'' or the robbery of the century] they got the Argentinian captain sent off [Argentina were all about to walk of the field] and the whinging Poms whine about Maradona, you couldnt make it up.fair play and justice? the islanders have been there for 150 years happy to remain British speak English etc. the Argentine couldn't woo them in the 70s invaded in the 80s and (behaved appalling before booted off.)
since have whinged and whinged the British singed a treaty with them in 1999 to cover oil and fishery which Kirchner tore up in a fit of pique and are now attempting a blockade.
The argies wouldnt know fair play or justice if it leapt up and bit them
the english world cup? wouldn't that have been 1966 and before the milkman and michael owen's mum got together?I was responding to paolo999 asking about Ireland, as regards Argentina and fair play take a look at the English in three football world cups against Argentina, Michael Owen doing a swallow dive to get a penalty on two different occasions and of course in the English World cup [the world cup was know the the rest of the world as ''el robo del siglo'' or the robbery of the century] they got the Argentinian captain sent off [Argentina were all about to walk of the field] and the whinging Poms whine about Maradona, you couldnt make it up.

Or aye and what is your considered opinion on the Irish question ?we do know it, you idiot, and in more depth than you, we just have brains to analyse it properly with as well.
there is no irish question, there's only an english question.Or aye and what is your considered opinion on the Irish question ?
Ireland is Irish or the colonialists have a right to rule as they see fit ?

Less than fair, you can say that again. some people thought that the English and Germans were collaborating to get the South American teams knocked out, then there was the last minute switch to Wembley so Portugal were not able to play at their home base for the tournie and had to travel overnight and not have chance to train and the there was the Ghost goal in the final that 30 years later due to enhanced technologies they were forced to admit it wasnt a goal. [Same old England]every fucker knows the world cup's less than fair.
you've clearly not read david yallop's book 'how they stole the game'.Less than fair, you can say that again. some people thought that the English and Germans were collaborating to get the South American teams knocked out, then there was the last minute switch to Wembley so Portugal were not able to play at their home base for the tournie and had to travel overnight and not have chance to train and the there was the Ghost goal in the final that 30 years later due to enhanced technologies they were forced to admit it wasnt a goal. England had one of the strongest voices in world football for years but of course England are now virtually friendless in World football.you've clearly not read david yallop's book 'how they stole the game'.
go and do some research and then post on the subject.
That, apparently, is a Falklands flag. Nice sheep!
A "flag of convenience" is what shipowners have their boats fly to avoid tax, labour law and safety regulations. Liberia used to have an enormous merchant fleet, on paper, for this reason. www.flagsofconvenience.com offers to register your ship in Mongolia
we actually signed a deal giving them a %age of all fossil fuel extraction revenues and greater access to fishing waters, but there's a HUGE amount of fishing waters between the Argentine coast and the falklands anywayWhat (briefly) was the deal and what was the Argentinean response?
You mean, our influence within that corrupt gladhanding international jokeshop FIFA? The ones who gave the WC to Qatar? oh be still my sides...England had one of the strongest voices in world football for years but of course England are now virtually friendless in World football.
