Unison regional have organised a coach but for some fucking reason they didn't put anything public-facing out, or put it out to branches properly, we just found out about it cos one of our reps got a WhatsApp message about it yesterday, and then I got one today saying they were trying to fill empty seats on the coach that no-one fucking knew about. Reckon they've probably managed to fill it now though. Have heard that the north east region is apparently putting 25 coaches down, which if it's accurate is... a lot of coaches.
(Not going myself, after going London two weeks ago and Leeds last week I need a bit of a break from travelling.)

So, if I've got this right, the Woke Met will be forming a ring of steel round the Cenotaph to stop Sue Ellen and Tommy's Crack Troops getting through, who also want to defend the Cenotaph against the Hate Filled PSC, who will be a couple of miles away? Then after that, Sue Ellen gets sacked and retires to GB News and the Met and their Hate Filled PSC friends have a nice cup of tea.

Just to amplify this bit:
There are two parts to breaking these laws: what you physically do (leaving the route or area) and what you were thinking (you knew you were breaking the conditions and did it on purpose). In order to be found guilty of an offence under sections 12 or 14, it must be proved that you knew, or ought to have known, that the conditions had been imposed and then broke them anyway.

To reduce the likelihood of people being found guilty, it is crucial that you do not share, spread or pass on any information you hear or see about conditions that have been imposed. Passing on information is doing the police’s work for them – it is often very difficult to hear, or comply with, conditions, but by passing on the message you make people more likely to be found guilty.

Nevertheless, the police still have to publicise restrictions, often by making loudspeaker announcements, having Police Liaison Officers hand out leaflets and sharing information about the conditions on social media. One group of protesters recently responded to officers making an announcement by loudly chanting, “we can’t hear you”.

Anyone taking part in a protest who distributes this information is helping the police to do their job and making it more likely that people could be found guilty of an offence – so don’t.

The route.

Its on the Victoria line underground.

Met have an exclusion zone around the American Embassy. That's going to be interesting. Cant see people walking all the way and then being told to just go.

I may join at Hyde park corner to take photos. As Im working that day wont make all the march.

For people who want to join part way through Victoria / Pimlico and Vauxhall are underground stations are on route, the Victoria line and its running ok tomorrow.

Does anyone know why it's going to the US embassy rather than the Israeli one, btw? Would've thought the Israeli one would be a more obvious destination.

A march on the Israeli one would probably have been banned. It's more vulnerable and the occupants considerably more trigger happy. The US moated thing is designed precisely for this kind of thing.

Marches to anywhere in Kensington (near the Israeli Embassy) are banned.

A mate of mine is going, there's 2 coach loads heading up from Chatham. I'm quite worried about her to be fair

Ahhh, makes sense - the news was so full of stuff about marches to the cenotaph being banned that I hadn't realised/thought about the possiblity of places that people might actually want to march to also being banned.

It kicking off and her being either hurt or nicked. She won't instigate anything, that's not her bag but if someone else marching is hurt by fash or old bill then that's a different matter.
the demos up till now have been utterly peaceful...with the amount of people there today if for some reason anything did happen you'd have to be in the frontline and up for it - maybe facing off cops at the embassy or something - IMO this is another a to b family friendly walking demo, im sure your friend will be fine
