And yet doesn't it speak to a lack of character, a lack of robustness on Knox's part that she "confessed" after being exposed to only a small percentage of the treatment Guede was subjected to?
I think Guede is lying when he says he recognised Knox and Sollecito at the scene, but I don't think he is lying about what happened that night (from his perspective, he doesn't know everything: the other room hadn't been fake-broken into in his story which, if true, means that was done when the murderers returned to clean up the place, which also fits with the ear witnesses who heard multiple people running away at the time Guede is known to have run).
