Nothing discredited Alex Jones except...Alex Jones. He had - and I can appreciate people's uncomfortableness with this - an opportunity to appear on mainstream TV and look credible. He spunked it up the wall by appearing on mainstream TV and looking like the kind of eyepopping loon that nobody - apart from some other eye-popping loon - could possibly take seriously.

It's a pity that Ken Campbell has gone to his reward. Seeing him debate the likes of Jones would have been televisual poetry, as Ken was a bit of a purist about conspiracy theories, as well as incredibly well-informed about what drives them.

I don't think it's the most repugnant phil, I think they are all equally repugnant. I don't really think you can say which type of racism is more or less repugnant. It affects me personally more than other types of racism for obvious reasons but objectively speaking every type of racism is wrong and in parts of the world where there aren't any jewish people people are still racist towards other groups.
