I know everyone's doing the open-mouth gape at Jones' own lawyers doing him in (accidentally, I'm sure) but this is also just amazing, the prosecution playing an infowars skit where he insults the jurors and fantasizes about the judge burning. It's like he wants a billion-dollar fine.

It's all ramble and bluster to cause deflection is all he's doing. Just a crude attempt to avoid giving straight answers to uncomfortable questions. Straight out of the Trump/Johnson playbook. Meaningless sentences and pretend confusion, to fumble his way to the end, create ambiguity, and give him some advantage. He's not even very good at it.

If there's one thing that's very clear it's that whatever his circles are these days it's comprised entirely of people too stupid, mad, cowardly or uncaring to sit him down and tell him he's making things worse every time he opens his mouth. Which is quite sad in its own way and I'd even feel a bit sorry for him, if he wasn't such a massive arsehole who deserves every second of it.

because it's about one thing only: pwning the libs. being correct, being a liar, doesn't matter, it's getting "them"upset. again there's a legion of rightwing talkers here, it's not just fox and OAN, it's prager u., it;s hugh hewitt, it's charlie kirk, there's probably someone in every state whose name i don;t even know. that's all they have ever done (starting with the notorious bob grant here in NYC, of whom my mother was a devotee and it damaged the family relationship).
jones has his own approach, he was well-established on radio before he was on tv, i listened to him a few times then. he was the only person with a mass-media audience to talk about the "working class". i put that in quotes but maybe i shouldn't, he was actually talking about lack of economic control and such, not idealizing. but he's not the first to get from there to rightwingism (fr. coughlin for another). he's just extended the "take back control" idea to everything. don't isten to those liberl doctors, take supplements and stick ti to the man twice by taking alex jones' supplements.

IANAL but i'm not sure that was an accident. if you withhold evidence during discovery you are opening the widest door to a re-trial. jones' lawyers may - may - be covering every ass by "accidentally" handing over material, including their own asses for not doing it in the first place.
