Your daily cat and kitten news

Is he straining to go but nothing coming out? If so, he may have got a blockage somewhere. One of my cats did this years ago and when the vet gave him an enema a whole fish head came out so he must have been raiding someone's bins.

You can give cats the human drug lactose. I know the maintenance dose for cats prone to constipation is 2 mls a day but he'd need something stronger than that so best to run it past the vet first.
Not that I've seen, he's just not gone for at least 3 days, and normally has at least 1 shit a day. He's not drinking as much water either (maybe cos he's not licking all his fur off his legs now?). Tried him with a bit of milk, but that's done nowt.

Will see if this Laxapet shifts him.

I hope he produces something soon!

I met one of my regulars on the walk to work this morning, but forgot that whilst she's very affectionate, bouncing up to say hello, she also likes to bite your fingers as a sign of appreciation. When you stick a finger in their nose most cats brush it and the side of their face against it. She just tries to bite it off, all whilst purring.

How are all the cats doing with fireworks tonight?!

Kizzy was out earlier for a short while until a very loud bang sent her running in, locked the car flap for a bit and she hasn't wanted to go out, looked scared for a bit
Calmer now majority of fireworks have stopped

I've never had an animal that was scared of fireworks.
Jakey just isn't bothered at all, neither was Sonic. Radar used to run to the window to see if he could see any pretty lights.

Even with Fireworks going-off right at the back of the house, mine didn't seem bothered at all. Came home early to see they were OK too..! :D

Beautiful cats and awesome duvet cover there Epona :D

Ken helped with the shopping today  He got really angry with the bag :D but I couldn't get close enough to get it off him. He got into one of the handles if that's not clear from the photo. Eventually he somehow slunk out of it looking ashamed.

I hope he goes soon, we're getting on for 5 days without a shit now. If he's not gone by the morning, and I'm still testing positive, I might give him more milk. Am a bit worried now tbh.
Is he an indoor cat or does he go out? Lilith rarely uses her litter tray ever, and when she does it's just number ones. She generally prefers to do her business outside without me seeing, so I was wondering if that might be the case with Jocky.
