Grrrrr
Urban: 84.3% wrong.
I'm stunned at this. How could Urban75 be so wrong we all discussed all the polls and all the pundits and we thought we held no illusions.

Never! But we'd never be smug about it.
Everyone on these boards certainly have condemned his racism and misogyny - but his racism and misogyny were like a clarion call to the Americans who have now made him President.
He wants to 'Make America Great Again'? That's dogwhistle talk yearning for a return to times when white American males kissed their stay-at-home wives on the way out the door to a blue-collar job with other white American males, untroubled by the presence of people of color, or foreigners doing anything more complicated than cleaning toilets and making beds. It's a yearning for a time when marriage happened between a straight man and woman, and when marches for equal rights [by women, blacks, gays - you name the group] were met with clubs and fire hoses.
President Trump has a Vice President who is an anti-abortion homophobe, and the two of them are backed by Republican-majority House and Senate. The first thing they will do, is stack the Supreme Court with judges acceptable to their electorate.
You thought the Bush presidency was a bad thing? Well, hold on to your hats, folks.

People have to leave the house and get in line to vote. And if they live in poor, Black or Hispanic neighborhoods, they not only have a longer line to wait in, everything is being done to literally stop them from casting a ballot. So in most elections it’s hard to get even 50% to turn out to vote. And therein lies the problem for November – who is going to have the most motivated, most inspired voters show up to vote? You know the answer to this question. Who’s the candidate with the most rabid supporters? Whose crazed fans are going to be up at 5 AM on Election Day, kicking ass all day long, all the way until the last polling place has closed, making sure every Tom, Dick and Harry (and Bob and Joe and Billy Bob and Billy Joe and Billy Bob Joe) has cast his ballot?
In 2012, Mitt Romney lost by 64 electoral votes. Add up the electoral votes cast by Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. It’s 64. All Trump needs to do to win is to carry, as he’s expected to do, the swath of traditional red states from Idaho to Georgia (states that’ll never vote for Hillary Clinton), and then he just needs these four rust belt states. He doesn’t need Florida. He doesn’t need Colorado or Virginia. Just Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. And that will put him over the top. This is how it will happen in November.
I think the voting in this poll reflects the ignorance the liberal media keeps us in about the support and motives behind the Trump vote. Disenfranchisement, crap wages, and the fact the working class are ignored by what's posing as the heir to traditional left wing movements, is really what is behind an historical shift towards protest voting. It's like if you aren't represented by anyone lets just vote to fuck the liberals off. Sneering, lack of understanding and empathy and self rightiousness are herding the working class into the hands of right wing populists. First brexit, now Trump, yet liberals are taken by surprise every time, thanks to the media which feeds their more educated mindset.
France is next, so don't be surpirsed when it happens.
And make the Mexicans pay.
I'm not sure with Trump logic ever comes into it.i cant believe the logic of this. its like saying 'i am going to kick your tits off, can you pop out and buy me some steel toed boots?'
